I would like to know your thoughts about the dial of this reference 7412-4. Is it original?

Could anyone help me to find missed index?

    Thank you

right subdial looks suspicious. Not centered and I would expect a flat 3.

The missing index at 6 did not leave any traces. How is it possible?

Me too. However I have seen other 30CH with these round 3, and open 6.
Do you think it was been refinished?

That one seems to have the same not centered and too small printing on the right subdial.
Missing index, suspicious subdial. For me, too many questions.

This is a good refinish/redial. Font size, print quality and positioning all point to a redial. Here are my watches for reference. I don’t think it will be easy to find an applied hour marker.

Larry S, your 7413 photo looks just as off center on the right register. Camera angle the problem on your photo?

Yup ... hard to get these lit properly and the recessed subs cause issues.

Certainly does look like the majority of 741x watches have a flat 3 for the "30"

    2500€
Perhaps too much, if I must find a new dial.
It is not so easy find a new dial, and the cost would be very high.
    What do you think?

You find gold cased 30CH in good original condition for 3500€.
I saw a steel version currently for sale for about 5000€.
I doubt that you can find a good dial. If I remember well, @Northernman is hunting a dial for his 30CH for a long time now.

Would you look for another better and correct 30CH?

    I already have one ::bleh::

The blue is a little bit faded, but it has a nice patina.

    Coming back to your question:
There are three requirements a watch must fulfil:
    1. condition
    2. condition
    3. condition

I am not a big fan of project watches. So personally, I would not buy it, although the price sounds attractive at first sight.

Look it’s not a bad redial. You can probably have a new indice fabricated. I know my guys can do it. The price tells me the selller knows full well that it’s a redial. That causes other concerns. Factor in $700 USD for service. It’s not a Watch a collector would want.
