What do you think about my Omega Seamaster 120 Ref. 166.027

Hey guys,

I bought this beautiful watch today but I am not sure if the Dial etc. is original. What do you think?
The bezel is aftermarket and I need also help to find the correct one. Whats the parts number?
I also want the steel band...Which one is matching this watch...Thanks for any help.

Dial looks fine. Unfortunately, the bezel will be expensive and very hard to find. I’m not aware of the part number, but I’m unsure it would be of much help. I still have an alert set for these bezels from when I was hunting for one myself. They are almost always sold loose on ebay without any sort of original packaging.

I want to be honest. I paid 800€ for the watch
You’ll probably pay that much and sometimes more for the bezel. It really depends on condition. Rougher ones are cheaper. New old stock ones I’ve seen sell for $1,500 usd

That’s crazy. I have to be patient.
You wouldn’t find a ton cheaper. Cheapest I’ve ever seen sell was $750 usd. They rarely come up for sale.

Did you buy it with that bezel? The dial/case etc do look fine but the bezel is fake.
It’s unusual to see a genuine watch with a fake bezel.

The part number for the bezel is irrelevant as it hasn’t been available from Omega for years. Any replacement will need to be sourced from the secondary market. You will also need the bezel spring (although that part is still available from Omega).

I have an original case/crystal/bezel/bezel spring in my parts box I can sell if you’re interested. It won’t be $750 but it’s certainly not $1500 either.

The guy bought it without bezel and ordered one in Asia.
