Ok it is past the watershed here in the UK so you can speak as you wish.
Away in the distant past I recall something about never wearing a watch to bed, many black and white films had some guy removing his watch before turning in.
I always wear my Marathon purely because of the fantastic lume, it guides me on my nocturnal visits to the to you know what.
So why not wear your prized piece in the sack ?

Your body makes involuntary motions and you can damage your watch against the headboard or nightstand - or even damage your partner's nose. However, if bonking your wife in the noggin seems like a good idea, then put the clunkiest dive watch on and toss & turn all night!

I wear a watch to bed every night - something with a lot of lume - usually this one:

I wake up frequently during the night, and like to know close it is to the alarm going off....

From the sound of the title for this thread I thought it must be ratings week on the Omega Forums...

I always leave mine on the nightstand, next to my wig and teeth.

I always wear a watch to bed, but recently got a new phone with a wireless charger that sits on the bedside table. After a couple of archers posts about magnetism im now having low level kittens about my watches being damaged while i sleep - the only issue being if i took it off itd be on the bedside table which would be worse!

Mate, we are constantly referring members to you and other watchmakers here, so if we can do it, I think you can also!

Here in the UK that has a total different meaning !, it has nothing to do with wearing a watch. :whistling:

Al, the rules here are there are no rules. There's no issue with a link like that as long as you aren't a spammer who just joined to promote Russian porn or otherwise annoying ads.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep the Russian porn to myself then. ;)

I always like to make sure I'm not breaking the rules of the house, and certainly some houses are filled with more rules than others are.

Anyway, the watch in the photo above is the Archer Aero, shown here:

Actually not true unless you have a sleep disorder and even then can be easily medicated
