Dear Omega Enthusiasts, Do I need to be worried about the absence of the name on the dial? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Early-Vint...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Many thanks, AQBill
When I search the model number in google, all the watches that come up have the name on the dial...would be a warning sign for me. The font also looks off and the symbol is too rounded at top and narrow at bottom. Have not looked up the movement, but I would not buy this one. Others who are more expert here can probably give you more.
The engraving on the movement also looks suspect. This looks like either a fake of frankenwatch to me.
Movement looks just fine. Dial has been refinished at some time. Wadsworth case is US production. Not something I would buy or recommend.
As additional info, here is the Omega model reference: https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-us-collection-omega-g-6213 Here is a picture of the cal 354 movement, and it does appear to be the same, though in the seller's photo it looks like maybe some replacement parts have been used and the balance and regulator are covered by the weight: https://omegaforums.net/threads/a-test-of-the-cal-354-autowind.7705/
Oops, movement is to early for this reference. Looks like a 28.10 RA which has the exposed bumper springs.
