This waffle dial really caught my eye on ebay. What do we think?

Sidenote: I'm getting into a whole new world with the vintage these vintage models and I feel this piece would be a great place to start.

Don't like the hands and the dial appears to be refinished.

 

Refinished dial, hands are not original (and maybe not even Longines), and a poor replacement crown.

Verdict: pass.

 

I've been looking at the hands on a ton of Longines and I can most certainly say the hands aren't original. The more I look at them. The more they begin to pester me.
