What can anyone tell me about this Omega?

Hello, I am new to this site. I have this Omega from my father. I think it might be from the 1950s. It gives nothing away and I have not removed the back (don’t know how to!). Any thoughts welcome. Thanks. Mike

Nothing to say from that photo. Try taking a few more photos, focusing on the watch instead of the fingers, eventually you will figure out how to focus. Just delete the blurry photos and only keep the good ones. Post photos from various angles including the back. But really, the information you want is inside, so you will need to have it opened.

Defnitely looks 50's and i like the bracelet too. Hard to say what model but appears to be a manual wind model. Can you try some better pictures by laying the watch down on a table so it's easier to focus? maybe front and back shots.

It’s late 50s rather than early. The bracelet is later still

Here are some hopefully better pics. There is no info on the front other than Omega and Swiss made at six o’clock. It is manual wind. From this thread I have gathered I should have it opened for more info. Just wondered if anyone has an idea of the model and if there are any recommendations for a good place/person to open and service it? Was my dad’s watch and hasn’t been worn for at least ten years. Works fine but rather erratic time-keeping! Thanks in anticipation.

Very cool that it is from your Dad.
Get it serviced and enjoy!
