What bracelet for vintage omega seamaster

Hello everyone!

i just bought a very nice automatic seamaster with a bumper movement which I would like to get a genuine Omega BoR bracelet for. Its an Omega ref 2677. I am however having a hard time figuring out which bracelet is the one I need and what endlinks I need. What I have seen on some of these omegas is the ref 1503 bracelet. Is this the correct one?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome! Pictures are always enjoyed so show your watch? I believe #11 end links will work if it's the same case and bracelet I'm thinking of.

Can you post a photo, including of the reference number so we can double check it for you. I'm not recognizing that reference off the top of my head.

Fat lug model. Need a 5 small links bracelet. Can't find one and my old ad's seemed to have disappeared or not searching on the right words

outside fat pieces and 5 links between them. There's also 7 link, but those for later thin lug and De Ville styled cases

99% it’ll be a 2577. The 5s in the case back often look like 6s unless examined closely. Here’s an example of a 2577 of mine:

As stated above, any 5-row Beads of Rice with #11 or #511 endlinks will fit, so will flatlinks with #4 endlinks. Here are two examples of how it’ll look:

Bracelet references you’re looking for are 1502, 1036, 8220 or 3010 for the beads of rice or 7077, 7912, 1035 for the flatlinks. Technically, none of them is “period-correct” for the reference but I wouldn’t care. They look nice, wear well, so why not. :)

Sorry for the late reply. I was working late

MtV seemed to have really good insight. Here are the pictures of mine which were asked for.

I see now now when I opened the watch that it was very clearly a ”5” and not a ”6” in the reference. I just got the watch yesterday and I hadn’t had the time to look for myself yet so I just went off the listing. Anyways, I will see if I can find some of the references MtV mentioned.
huge thanks to everyone, really!

Glad it’s solved. Late incarnation of a 2577 (thick lugs and the boxed SEAMASTER writing on the case back). Should have a cal 354 and is a great watch. Enjoy. :)

I found a decent No.12 bracelet with 11 end links. Will that fit?

What's the difference?

Thanks once again(:

It's a crazy beautiful watch. I'm very picky with what I like when it comes to vintage but this one is just great!

I should have added that not all bracelets are actually stamped with a reference number. The 12 is not relevant - show us a picture and we’ll likely be able to tell you if it’s alright. #11 end links sounds like a good start.

That will be fine. The No. 12 bracelet is probably an unlabeled 1036. The main thing is that the #11 endlinks are unmodified and fit the bracelet properly. And that the bracelet is an appropriate length.

Here are the pictures. The bracelet looks very similar to a 1036

Yep that bracelet will work with the #11 end links. Might want to flip the bracelet half so the link seams are on the inside.

Make sure it fits your wrist or is slightly larger than required. These aren’t that easy to resize and spare links aren’t easy to find. It always best to try and buy one that’s already fits.
