... What is it about, and why do you enjoy it?

This morning, I'm listening to Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew Pinski on "The Adam and Drew Show". Adam is a comedian, documentary filmmaker, and author, and Dr. Drew is an addiction medicine specialist. They ran the Loveline radio show together for about 15 years.

The show involves Adam and Drew making casual conversation, sometimes covering recent events, sometimes covering the quirks of society. They also take callers that tend to ask questions about their health, sex life, or personal habits, and Adam and Drew give them advice (that's basically what Loveline was).

I enjoy it for multiple reasons: (1) Adam is hilarious and I thoroughly enjoy his rants, (2) Drew is brilliant and I really like the advice he gives to callers and listeners, (3) the podcast is consistent as they know their style and don't regularly change things up in a big way.

What is/are your favorite podcast(s), what is it about, and why do you enjoy it?

Time4APint and TheGrayNato are my favorites at the moment. I listen to the Worn and Wound podcast too but only when I don't have the others to listen to

Here are my go to horology related podcasts:

Time4apint - awesome content and interviews
The gray NATO - you get a podcast every 2 weeks, great content!
On time podcast - just an enjoyable conversation
Worn & wound - a very chic approach to watches
The hour time podcast - just something to listen 2

    Best regards,

I am not very up to date with podcasts or tweaker or those kind of media outlets. The only podcast I listen to is Time4apint.

Here is a great Podcast series I ran across during my Apollo-Soyuz deep dive recently.

Cold War Conversations with Ian Sanders

There is a lot of great content and quite a few Space Race and Cosmonaut related episodes.

My most recent listening was The Cold War Handshake in the Heavens - The Apollo-Soyuz mission.

Quite interesting to hear about the language barriers between the crews during the mission. The Americans only had to learn Russian, but the Soviets had to learn both English and Oaklahomski as Leonov described Stafford's heavy Oklahoma accent combined with his broken Russian.

    +1 for Radiolab
    The Hidden Brain

Haven't had much time lately to explore others as work has been consuming most of my time lately.

I am having a similar issue it seems difficult to make time for enjoyable things. I am so out of the loop with podcasts but I recently found some interesting science and space ones. I don’t even know their names I just stumbled across them. Like this whole Joe Rogan thing I had no clue he was so popular I’d like to hear a bit of a show just to hear what all the fuss is about. I do like late night talk radio which is good for entertainment and I have listened to time4apint which is linked here on occasion but I feel like I am missing out on the whole podcast thing although something tells me I will be fine either way.

    My regular rotation is:

    This American Life

    WTF (Marc Maron)

    Smartless

Also really enjoyed recently Jon Ronson’s new one on the BBC about Culture Wars.

Not a huge fan of watch podcasts (despite producing one)… everything seems to come back to investment…zzz.

Lot of good recommendations so far!

Two that I listen to every week are the 1) Skeptics guide to the universe. It can be a little dry, but they do a great job breaking down science news from a skeptical viewpoint. And, 2) ironically, The Last Podcast on the Left, a trio of nerdy stand-ups diving into the weirdest true crime and conspiracy theories.
