In with a load of watch parts. No other tools. I’d guess they’re the size of a short and stubby pen but it’s hard to be sure. Might be a number visible on one of them. So guys... any ideas ?
I‘m quite sure I saw those as a „mid case“ of a pen. Not sure what maker or model. I guess hey are hollow?
I guess they open up at the point where the narrow band is, but I only have this one picture so it’s a guess. On the right band you can make out a number four, perhaps something like 0-4 or 10-4.
They’re part of an active eBay listing. There’s a buy it now price which is just fractionally too much for the bits I need, so I was trying to figure out what these are and if they have value.
I think the markings on the band don’t make sense if it’s just a pillar, unless they’re silver and it’s a hallmark but that seems unlikely...
I know nothing about clocks... so I headed over to google for 400-day clocks and that’s a pretty good idea
Thanks guys Great to get an idea what they might be, but a shame they don’t push the listing into “buy“ territory.
Sort of like this is what I had in mind... it was late .... the desk clock theory makes way more sense.
I bought the lot ! So let’s see who’s right (most likely Canuck with the 400 day clock), and who was furthest from the truth (most likely Draven with his prototype light sabers) I’ll update the thread when it all arrives...
