    ...between a 2998 and a 105002-62? How about the relative values? Thanks all Speedmaster 62 front.JPG .

Not a simple question - depends on which 2998 and which 105.002 (earlier or the later versions).

Let´s say that at least 2998-6, -61 and -62 are identical to early 105.002. Then late 105.002 changed hands and dial.

    my 105.002 is late production

    Differences and specs.....and even values!

personally I would own an early spec 105.002-62 before the 2998-61 or 62.

but we are splitting hairs. They are all very special and hard to find, and your choice may have more to do with what is available than any personal desire!

here is mine, also a later 105.002-62

Yours has the older dial, called 'Low Swiss Made', whereas mine is 'High Swiss Made'. From mine, main markers are a bit shorter and don't touch subdials at 3-6-9. Furthermore, the 29-second marker is at the center of the D of Swiss Made, whereas on mine, this marker is shifted to the right.
