    hello friends,

What about this Omega? The hallmark (not shape) disturbs me.

    Legit and keepable?

    Thanks so much

Why don't you use the same thread, rather than one for each watch?

I thought it would be better to open new thread because it is another watch

Thank you for answering. Do you mean, it is not a pie pan?

Yes. It is not a pie pan. there should be defined facets on the dial, not just a lighter coloured outer ring.
Here's mine for comparison. Clearly a different colour and metal than yours but the differences in the dial should be obvious to see.

I personally would ask for a bitter photo of the dial, with more even lighting and the focus on the dial so the minute marks are clearer. To me, it looks like some of the minute markers are uneven at some of the 'furniture', but it may just be because of the bright reflections distorting the outlines.

Not liking the minute track either. Also would like a clear photo of the Geneve script.

These early Geneves are getting rare now. The dial on this one looks good to me. Minute markers can appear off from one angle and ok from another and I think that's what's happening here. The "Geneve" is not obviously incorrect but I'd want to see all of it. Looks like there are a few marks on the dial but nothing too horrendous, however he has taken the photo in low light which makes it hard to say just what the condition is. Definitely need a better pic of the dial.

I think that is a lovely watch and 100% original. Here is mine in a British 9ct Dennison case. Technically the hands on mine are wrong, but that seems to happen sometimes with Dennisons. I paid the very top end for mine but it is practically NOS and the condition made it worthwhile to me. The hands on "your" watch are correct. OK there are some marks on the dial but I personally could live with that, it's a matter of individual choice.

When it comes to dress watches you should be picky concerning condition. It looks like a great watch to wear and enjoy. Market value obviously differs depending on if you buy from a dealer or if it is a private sales, estimate 1000-1300 USD.
