As some are aware I have been in hospital for the past six days but discharged yesterday, an evening in my own bed and to awaken at a sensible hour to sunshine and birdsong I reckoned life could not get any better

That was until after breakfast when my love presented a welcome home present,


What a girl, she knew I had been admiring these boxes
What a lucky boy I am but things got even better,

A 'Smiths' Everest hiding within

Part of my recovery regime includes gentle exercise so a great excuse to strap on the new arrival and enjoy a 'wonderful day'

A strange coincidence is that I just stumbled across the Everest whilst browsing the interwebs this morning.

I'm curious to hear your opinions on how it wears? I'm a big, big fan of the 1016 and while I wait for the funds to afford one, I thought the Smiths would be a nice way to get my adventurers' fix for a very reasonable price.

I've noted the lug to lug size is quite long, but it looks very well sized on your wrist! Would you mind sharing your wrist size?

My wrist comes in at just under seven inches, I immediately removed the bracelet as for me it was a bit on the heavy side hence the nylon which is a comfortable combination but I will be on the lookout for alternatives. Lug width of 22mm
