What’s wrong with this dial? And white of the hands seem re-painted

Hello guys and gals. Another desperate question from an over paranoid Admiralty shopper. I found this Admiralty from Italy for a decent price in today’s Admiralty market, $1300+shipping. I haven’t purchased the piece yet, but the seller has said offer on the table. Looking for help from the pros before I commit. It’s a non-diver/manual/date (136.015), in black. Pretty much what I’m looking for, but something bugs me about the black on the dial and the white on the hands. The dial seems pretty darn scratched up, and I don’t think it’s the crystal. Is it spider webbing? The dial also seems too glossy. Repainted? The crystal is bad too, but I’ve already ordered a replacement (PZ 5127) since I know I want a non-diver with a date. Either the 166.038 (automatic) or this version the 136.015 (manual), so having an Omega replacement crystal is a feather, even if I don’t get it. The hands also seem odd. They are beat up closest to the center (black), yet seem super white around the lume. Repainted at some point? I also realize the crown is a replacement, probably a ST42057 or ST42242. I can live with that given the rarity of an original crown. Also it comes with the original 1122/563 Fixo-Flex, but it’s broke, but salvageable. Any thoughts on the hands and dial? Help for a guy trying to buy his first Admiralty. Always thank you in advance! Pics below:

Some black autos, one non-date (165.038) and one date (166.038). Trying to find a manual.

For anyone wondering, the above Admiraltys are other black dial examples for comparison. @STANDY asked and I appreciate his thinking. Thanks again all!

Ok so here
https://omegaforums.net/threads/comprehensive-omega-admiralty-thread.69037/

Your going to find a heap like below

Here you will have a few for sale to see if price wise your looking good ( few months ago was last one )

https://omegaforums.net/search/12948984/?q=Admiralty&o=date&c[title_only]=1

And this is the one you need to really read

I would be asking for more pictures of the dial. As dial scratches kills any deal I am afraid. If it’s hands and crystal it’s hard to tell.

calling @DIV and @JimInOz

Thanks @STANDY. I have read the OF Comprehensive thread. @DIV has helped plenty, yet he hasn’t seen my first “scratched” dial yet. So thanks for “calling” him and @JimInOz. Both have helped me in the past. Great members!! I also read the your other links and anything from the OF is always helpful.

Seems like you are onto it. A lot cheaper you would gamble on a bad picture nice watch scenario like many have scored over the years.
The condition of the dial is the number one thing here. Dial scratches are always hard to live with and Hard to move on later.
Better to overpay for a great example on a watch like this

I suggest that you hold your horses until the watch has arrived. A poor crystal often makes a fine dial looks poor, and also generates spekulations which often seems to be incorrect, when the watch can be seen in real life. I think your dial will be just fine 😀

@Maskelyne sounds logical. Very positive and helpful with my decision looming. @STANDY provides a solid perspective in regards to the dial. Great thoughts and I’m going to sleep on it. That’s why I come here, gives us novices more to think about and from different perspectives. Thank you both and anyone else throughout the morning!!

FYI, I haven’t purchased the Admiralty yet. I’m simply waiting a day to ACCEPT OFFER. Hence throwing this thread up for help. The help from the OF will aid in my decision. Sorry to give the wrong impression, I will edit my query. Thanks all!!
