So the watch I noted I bought on eBay arrived today. Overall still very happy but one problem was noticeable right off. The crystal is cracked at the 7 o:clock position. I do not see any indications of this in the auction pics. I don't know if it happened in shipping or? Either way, I am keeping it. Where can I get a real Omega replacement? This one isn't marked.

Second question. The gap at the crown. Is this normal? It is an Omega crown. Movement is a 550. Sorry, not the best pic.

Have I stumped the panel? ::confused2::

Everything else I've found with the KM6324 has a 563 movement. Any opinions? Anyone have a crystal?

I get crystals from Otto Frei in Oakland, Ca (forgot to check where you're at?). They'll send it by mail with a minimum order. I usually buy a strap or three to meet the minimum (although your OEM crystal will prob. be near $40 and qualify for the minimum). Check out ofrei.com.

The stem may be a replacement that simply needs to be filed down. And when I say simply, I mean for a watchmaker, not a collector! I have a Longines with the same stem dilema. I didn't want to file off too much of the stem so I left it long. Yes, it driving me crazy! But I don't want to take off too much (which I did twice while exercising great care on another watch).

Good luck! And congrats on a watch with a story!
