Not too many stalls selling vintage pieces. Too many good pieces are refinished dials. Every seller is saying dials are original when it is clearly refinished. Well even top notch auction houses are selling questionable pieces for years are they not? Why can't they? For budding collectors (i take it back) even for old collectors (not about age), can only imagine the money lost having bought "perfect" time pieces. I am one of them and I said to myself the only way to avoid this is to buy new pieces.-box and papers. But where is the fun? Too much red wine perhaps for me tonight. Best from Brooklyn
