On an aside, I bumped into this on the "toobs".

Having been involved in aircraft all my adult life, I thought I'd share this.

To those who don't know what a corncob is you'll probably go "ho-hum'.

To those who have been there, the hairs on the back of your neck may rise a little ;-)

 

Yep, to be on an airfield when one of these fires up and takes flight is an awe inspiring thing.
