I won’t say which retailer this is, as that isn’t the point, but made me literally laugh out loud at the ridiculousness/audacity of some sellers. Somehow the new Snoopy has eclipsed the 2015 model by a factor of 3...
If some tech guy will pay $69,000,000 for a piece of digital art what's a $100,000 for a physical bauble centered around a cartoon beagle? Chump change for some.
Hey- that’s not normal price, that’s a Sale price! Just for you, super deal. Get it fast, supplies are limited. Free strap included with sale. One of my favorite songs for just this kind of occasion
But it does have a 30 day return policy and no restocking fee* (*which does not apply in this case and would therefore be $9,900).
Its actually the same seller - they just bumped the price by $25k to account for ebay fees??? (hence the original listing being "on sale")
A Snoopy (unworn) popped up on European Watch in Boston yesterday, now shown as 'on hold' at $36,500 asking price. Not sure what the actual selling price was, but probably not much less than $35,000. Right now, with the current supply in the marketplace, that seems to be the range of what these are being flipped for. I don't think it is sustainable in the long run. Right now all common sense is out the window.
