Looks pretty sharp. A beautiful watch.............use it with proud and in health.

Very nice SS bracelet, too. You may consider a mesh and a leather bracelet as spare.

I dislike dive watches on general principle.

That, however, is one I'd own in a heartbeat. :p

My thanks for all your comments, to be honest I spent a lot of time deciding which route I was going down and I fully appreciate the differing points of view regarding original v nos or whatever term you want to use.
In my case I eventually decided I wanted a "New" watch without the worries of service history or lack of, also even with the help of you guys always a chance of picking up a franken.
And finally the deciding factor for a watch that I intend to wear and wear - cost.
Maybe forty or so years from now they will be regarded as vintage ? ;)

I like this, but it is time to show my lack of knowledge. What is this and where did you get it from? I'm guessing this is not the 1962 cal. 550/552 !

Hi shaun hk, glad you like. This is a cal562 all assembled from nos/service parts and as such is a new watch, early days but just checked after eighteen hours on the wrist and spot on timing.
