    That song takes me back to when I was in the Air Force, stationed in England (RAF Woodbridge) and my unit would go to Iceland (Keflavik).

    I have no idea about the watch though, sorry. I was just taking a trip down memory lane when I saw your user name. :)

    What about the Omega logo? Didn't they stop using that logo in the late 1890s?

    You mean only a few years after they launch the Omega concept?

    I cannot the logo well enough as well, but it says "Swiss fabrication suisse" (the two last words being the French translation of Swiss made) and kind of looks like the ones you can find on some old Omega and some French cases Onega. But "kind of" only because I really cannot see that logo well enough!

    Looks fine to me. The case would not have been made by Omega but I can't see the makers mark clearly enough. The owl is the French gold import mark and the centre logo is not unusual to me.
