    Hi all,

Just as the title says, I am curious whether I can wear my SMP 300 golfing? I know the metas certification rates it to somewhere around 5000 G’s but I wanted to get some opinions before I proceeded.

People fought wars, worked hard in dangerous environment, did all kind of crazy stuff while wearing wristwatches. Enter 2020's and suddenly people are questioning whether they can wear watch in normal situations, clean them with water and soap etc.

Golfing, shooting, skiing, bike riding, running, swimming, washing - it's safe, seriously, it's safe. if you'll encounter 5000G's while wearing a watch, watch will be least of your problems.

Should be no problem, but if you are a serious golfer the weight of the SM may throw off your swing ;)

If you play (a.k.a. hack the ball into trees) like me, why would you risk it?

Swop out for a seiko/Casio enjoy the round, and put it on for the 19th if you feel the need.

I have shot hundreds of rounds from my 500 Nitro double rifle, and thousands of rounds from other heavy recoiling hunting rifles, while wearing my Aqua Terra. It has survived.
I can't see the shock of striking a golf ball would harm anything.

I wear a super lightweight Garmin Vivoactive 3 for golf, with the course I'm playing loaded in the golf app, gives me yardage to the hole (not that that helps me much at all haha!).

I'm an avid golfer and I don't understand why someone would want to wear a relatively heavy watch on their wrist while playing. But obviously it doesn't bother you. It would me.
