There's a lot of discussion about this over on the Rolex forum and in other places ... Did you see a specific news source for the Omega price jump?

Got a call from "my" boutique to think about getting a new watch untill saturday. They expect a new price list on monday. An extra of 10% might be possible then.

if Omega has Euro/US hedges on( as any prudent multi-national would),
based on projected US sales, the Euro collapse should not affect their Revenue.
Raising US prices might, although from reading this board, and the
stronger US economy, demand seems to be pretty good.

The problem is not the euro but the Swiss Franc

Thanks for correcting me, I meant the Franc
    when talking about the hedges.

:)Go Bitcoin... So much less volatile than those old-school currencies.

Two Winklevosses (Or is it Winklevi::confused2::) can't be wrong.

Frankly, I don't get all the endless threads/speculation over price increases. They seem to roll in pretty regularly with or without currency fluctuations.
