Thanks. It is a really nice example. Especially the dial. I had commented on this watch numerous times over the last 18 months and the former owner (well known to us all) was very nice to offer me first dibs at resale time. He also took wonderful watch photos and I am now shamelessly stealing them for my own use although I do acknowledge that they are copyrighted to Mr. BM.

I recently acquired a member's very early Ed White 105.003-63 with Alpha Hands and a Ghost Bezel.

Amazing. I can honestly say that the original 'ghost' may be my favourite watch on the forum.

I assume this is futile, but if you ever decide to part ways. Dibs.

One man should never own just a single 2913...it is written, make it so.

That's why there is a 2913-1,2,3,4,5,6,7&8

speaking of ghost bezels...Has anyone communicated with Aldo lately?

My last communication with him was over 6 months ago (2/25/16). He has 4 of my bezels that have now been in his shop for over a year. Im a patient man, but 1 year is not cool...and 6 months with no communications is just not acceptable or professional.

It sucks having some of my favorite watches left in an unusable state. I would love to be able to wear these some day soon.

Based on communication and lag, I've been afraid to even use him as an option. I'm actually going to try a person I know who laser etches plexis. My main concern is getting the piece thin enough though. Anyway, it's going to be an interesting experiment.

The bezel isn't going anywhere .... And anything I try will be reversible. Plan A - Plexi with minute markings. Plan B solid black metal insert. Plan C Is to to go/stay commando....urm....stay bezel-less. I just can't fathom how they make Bakelite so thin .... Probably why many of them didn't survive.

That Heuer is insane. Didn't even realize them and Abercromie had a relationship.

I had email intercourse with him in February when I sent him a bezel. I am a very patient man, and I am sure it will turn up some time.....

Abercrombie & Fitch has has a few cool relationships including a brief one with Rolex. IIRC, A&F was their initial attempt to break into the US market. I have seen 2 of these watches so far
