This is like saying I use my Tintin for garden work and while doing some light masonry! 😲
Hey, I do that! (well I don't actually do masonry work part of it, I just go look at it and watch others do it 😁; but I often arrive home an have my wife request a quick hand with something she is doing in the yard before I can get inside and take of the watch).

We bought this 1992 Dodge pickup in November of 1991. It's still being used and regularly abused at 500,000 + miles. To be fair the first 10 years of its life saw a lot of easy highway miles racked up.

It takes a lot of mulch each year to keep the trees and shrubs going in the summer heat here.

More recently, as we have entered our dotage we bought a 2019 Dodge Challenger Hemi back in May.

I keep checking this thread to see if any OLD (or older) cars show up. Mine can’t compete with the MG earlier in the thread, but it is one of the older ones to surface. Anyone know what it is, and about what year? It has been on the MB before, years ago.

This looks like a Hot Wheels car I had as a kid a very long time ago, but no idea what it is.
I mostly drive a now beaten-up VW Golf and I can't replace it because all my kids need it for learning to drive. Well actually, they're happy to learn in a nice new car, it's me that objects to that idea.

Looks somewhat like an AMC Hornet, ca. late '70s?

Concord, perhaps? You may love the fact a friend of mine (like me, a former Calgarian living on the West Coast) has a collection of AMC vehicles from the 1970's (no Pacers, thankfully). In fact, he raced a customized Gremlin at Mission Raceway for years much to the astonshment, and often dismay, of drivers and fans assuming he'd get blown away. Arguably the ugliest beast among the Mustangs, Chevelles and Nova's, by all accounts the Gremlin was damn fast.

He has retired from a successful career in banking and a favourite story is his former CEO at HSBC 'suggesting' he park a nicer vehicle than his beloved 1979 Wagoneer in the company parkade. The CEO may have hoped for a Merc, Bimmer or Bentley - all of which my friend could afford with pin money - yet he showed up with a shiny new Dodge 300 kitted out like a gangster's jalopy. Brand loyal to the end.
