·I recently bought a Speedmaster from a seller username WatchScene (e-mail [email protected] ) from Santa Monica, CA.
I Googled his name to see if anyone posted anything shady about him and didn't find anything. I talked to him a few times, and he seemed reasonable (even was willing to ship the watch FedEx at no additional cost - even after being negotiable on his asking price).
Still, I was very hesitant to wire transfer the money to him without knowing him or having seen the watch in person.
I took a chance and wired him the money. WatchScene e-mailed me when he received the funds and FedEx'd the watch to me (with an e-mail to me with the tracking number). When I got the watch, I was very satisfied of the condition (and better condition than expected) and extremely happy with the transaction. I wouldn't hesitate buying another watch from him.
I figure I would post this post, so that anyone Googling him in the future may find this post.
