    Looks like a very cool set up. My question is will a one day class translate into a broader understanding of watch mechanics?. Would a one day build of a VW air cooled engine coach you for a V8 or a straight 6 ?.
    I do like the examples of the watches you will build. Is $1245 a little pricey?.

    Correct...our oldest kid unit and I attended the course together in early 2018 at the AWCI headquarters in Harrison, Ohio.

    To the OP, @BatDad , a very worthwhile course in my humble opinion...I learned a boat load of stuff. :thumbsup:

    Also, it looks like two of my watches made the AWCI eventbrite.com flyer...

    Yes, I think so. It won't make you a watchmaker, but it will help you understand what is involved certainly.
