I'm planning ahead and would like to start building a relationship with a watchmaker in the Seattle or Vancouver, BC area to bring my Cal 321 Speedy. Nesbits will no longer touch a Cal 321 and I'm pretty sure I want to avoid Omega like the plague.

If you know any trusted watchmakers, please do share them. Thank you in advance.

Had good past experiences with German Watchmaker in Vancouver.

Precision Time in New Westminster. Watchmaker has ~50 years of experience and spent the first 15 years of his career at an Omega factory. Feel free to send me a PM if you need more info.

I'm surprised Nesbit's won't do them anymore. Must be parts they don't have and can't get.

Might ask the Tourbillon in downtown Seattle. I have never used them but I understand that if there's an Omega owner in the U.S. who wants to mail in their watch for Omega service, they'll be asked to send it there rather than N.J. It's a big shop and they might have spare parts Nesbit's doesn't. Ask them if they will be able to respect keeping dial, hands, etc., original and not polishing the case.

I only knew of Nesbit's downtown Seattle, good to know there is another choice as well. Thanks for that!

Yeah they are an Omega Service center. I have a relationship with Tourbillon already, might pop in to chat with them. I'm just worried about leaving the watch behind with Omega based on the stories I've heard.

Thanks for sharing. Do you know if they have vintage parts or access to them?

I think Nesbit's used to be the official Omega service center, but I don't they are any more. You might give Arc Watch Works a call and see if they have a store of 321 parts.

I will give them a call tomorrow, I'm really just digging for a flat footed crown or pushers while looking to build a relationship for when I need to get my Cal 321 serviced.

    Theodore Bettien. [email protected]

He serviced at least 3 of my 321. Great guy.

If you are in Vancouver, you can check out Otto Friedl. I've used them for vintage Rolex and a connie, but never for 321.

I will 2nd Otto Friedl in Vancouver. I used them about 5 times so far, all with good results. They are a bit more expensive than Norbert (German Watch Maker) but they do have access to Omega parts. I think Norbert does not. I needed a crown replaced on SM200, and he said to take it to a different place. Folks at Otto said no problem, they will get it fixed. My SM200 is there now. They also did service on my 861 Speedmaster.

He does. Or at least did - worked on a few vintage Omegas for me years back.

I bring all my watches to Norbert aka The German Watchmaker. He does a great job and is fair on the price.
