Watchmaker in San Diego

Now posting in general discussion.

Dear OF members, I have a spot of a dilema and maybe someone here can point me in the right direction. My 21yo son has just started his Erasmus placement at the University of San Diego, arriving last week, the weather there is somewhat better than it is here in the Emerald Isle and has been taking full advantage of the outdoors swimming facilities, unfortunately it appears that he did not properly screw down the crown of his Yema Superman heritage GMT and now it looks like this

Many thanks for your time
Brian

Whilst I've not used them personally, I researched this place for family in SD a year ago so worth checking out as hopefully your son's watch won't need too much work (maybe even just opening up to air dry)....

D's Time in the Gaslamp (downtown SD)

All, an update on the situation, D’s time service in San Diego have come to the rescue, the crown stem was bent so it wasn’t screwing down fully allowing moisture in, there was no other damage so they have dried out the watch and repaired the crown, all for the princely sum of 65 bucks. Thanks to all that passed in recommendations.
Beer isn’t the solution to all of life’s problems, the OF is 😁
