Anyone knows a good vintage watchmaker in Paris, France, that can do small repairs on the spot? (adjust hands that fell off)

    Hi,

I would recommend "La Chance électrique" (Paris 19ème, Métro Ourcq) for this kind of job
Jean-Louis is a nice and friendly old fashion watchmaker.
His bric-a-brac workshop worth the visit.

He is open only on even days

Depends on what watch you're talking about (sometimes it's not worth to go to a very renowned/expensive watchmaker that is going to make you pay for his time).
Personnally, I've had Charles Plasse (16ème) do some work on my ex-145022-74 and he did a good job for an honest pay (switched dials & replaced the hour-chrono hand that had developed "the creep"). And L'ora antica (rue du faubourg montmartre) serviced my Enicar Sherpa Graph & she works like a charm now.

These days not many people will drop what they're doing to put back hands ;-) Would recommend "La Chance électrique" too, he charges on time spent and will help out if he can. You could also try a "Louis Pion" shop (like the one at Opera) where they usually have a watchmaker on duty in a small booth.
