Hi everyone, I have two vintage watches I recently purchased via online auctions and was wondering the best place to get them serviced? I'm located on the Gold Coast, Australia. The first is a Omega geneve (1970's) which works fine, but runs a little fast. Also could do with an authentic crown, and the proper gold plated bracelet, and a better leather fill-in than the current band. The second is tudor princess oysterdate (1976- serial) I was hoping to give as a christmas present to my partner. It seems to work fine, but then sometimes stops. This can be fixed by pulling the stem all the way out to the last position, winding backwards and then resetting the watch. Please excuse the poor photos it's hard trying to take sneaky shots!
You'll have to either post it or come to Brisbane, go to Bowman House ground floor in the back (he's the only one on the floor) and get Paul to take care of them. https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Diamonds International Brisbane City/@-27.4675013,153.0237526,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x6b915a0330efdab3:0xb1673110b4a05315!8m2!3d-27.4675013!4d153.0259413 He's superb, does trade work for all the major dealers in town and happens to be very affordable too. Its actually adjacent to central station in the Brisbane CBD so you could even get the train up, drop it off, get pissed in the city, then train back. Good way to spend a day
Hi all, sorry to bump up a new thread but was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for where to go in Sydney for an Omega service? I am looking to buy a Seamaster and would like to know where Sydney members recommend taking this in. Even happy to travel out of Sydney if need be!
