I have an early 1950's (cal. 353) Seamaster that needs some work. I would like to find someone local in Austin that I could use (for this and future work). I travel to Houston a good bit and would not be totally opposed to someone in Houston.

So, I thought that I would reach out to this board and see if anyone here has had any good experiences in Austin (or Houston) and who they would recommend.

Wow. my son is moving to Austin, I wish I could help you, but I draw a blank. Would you consider shipping it? Try and contact the Capitol Area Clock and Watchmakers Guild (or Watch and Clockmakers, I forget which) and they should be able to guide you to competent people in the area.
