Just had an email through from watchfinder telling me about their Omega flash sale.

Even though I’m not in the market curiosity got the better of me so thought I would look.

The below stood out for me but I have no idea if this is a bargain or not

In any way, shape or form.

At £7,375 it's about twice what any sane person would pay.

And that's about twice what any sane person with working eyes would pay.

 

True, but they also had a 2017 mint Apollo Soyuz for £6250... Bargain, was on there for 20 mins I believe

No, it's the "first watch on a wagontrain" commemorative edition.

 

I never saw that one before. It is truly awful!

No box either if the details are correct, which is pretty vital with an LE. There is an X-33 spacesuit box in the photo, no idea if that is right, probably not.

 

These are part of the missions series, so that is the right box I think.

To be priced this way, someone at watchfinder overpaid on the buy, and is trying to re-coup.

 

Watchfinder traditionally ( like any business) pay way below market and then sell for a whole load more. They do however entertain a negociation when selling to you. In fact in one of my purchases it was quite fun ( for me at least)- knocking nearly a grand off a SD4k. To be fair this was 3 years ago. Doubt Id get that now. But then again with them charging £10k for a SD4k, i doubt id be in the market!
