I'll start with this one - it's very uncommon, maybe even rare especially in good shape (in my experience it's easier to find a nice early 2998 than this one), but not particularly valuable (at least nowhere near the value of an early 2998). But I like it a lot!
One of my favorites. It's rechargeable, at least it was when the accumulator was working. It has been replaced with a silver oxide cell. A prototype I believe, not many around of these. Landeron 4750.
The left crown hides the charging plug. You'd use a dry cell to charge the built in accumulator once in a while. Here's the only other example I've seen: http://electric-watches.co.uk/makers/swisselectric/
This is so cool. I found an article about something similar, same dial at least: Watchismo Times: First Swiss Electro-Mechanical, 1960 Landeron 4750
I have quite a few that would fall into this category. Here's an early Glycine that, while not of great monetary value, is a lovely watch, and extremely difficult to find in this condition.
Ha, there are so many, perhaps I have cheap taste...Anyway, where to start... Nothing fancy but always intrigued by this one...
Not at all expensive, but fits very nicely on the wrist, and I like it. One of the first vintage pieces I bought.
