Watches that need some attention are often some of the best buys.

I bought this one from a fellow who makes his living buying contents of storage units abandoned by it's owners.
This watch was missing one of the chrono pushers. Easy part to buy and not too expensive.
    Look what was inside :)

I have a good friend who also bids/buys these abandoned storage lots...guess I need to pay attention to his findings from now on! :)

Nice pick up, I agree. Some of my best value and uncommon pick ups have been the ones needing a little tlc. :)

There's one or two members with that same 321 powered Seamaster. I think adam78 has one.

Not an official one, but it could be. For some reason, these Seamaster chronographs are the Rodney Dangerfields of 321/861 models - they get no respect.

I was just looking through my files and see I have another one with a 321 movement.

That's the one adam78 owns. Very nice! Used to own the all 18ct version myself but found it too clunky for a dress watch and too much gold for casual use. Got a Seamaster Chronostop in the same colors - ss case, black dial, and orange second hand. It's a little thinner.
