We're celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Speedmaster this year. What other watches have been continuously produced for 60 or more years? Datejust, Submariner, Fifty Fathoms, Cartier Santos and Tank,...???

Submariner started in 1957 if I'm not mistaken...

JLC Reversos began in the 1930s.

Seamaster? I think the name has been in continual usage since 1948, although admittedly the model has changed.

I think the better question is what consumer good has been in continuous production for 60 years with minimal changes. You can argue the Speedy is basically unchanged since 69 or 67 if you include the 145.012.

@JMH76 I think you're pretty spot on! The list of watches that have been in continuous production for 60 years is short and distinguished. Just add the Speedmaster and the Reverso, as others have said. I wouldn't include the Seamaster as that's been around for that long in name only.

Can't think of any others off the top of my head.

Closest thing would be a Leica MP (if a luxury watch is a consumer good so is a luxury camera ;)), it has had more substantial changes than the Speedmaster but it is still very close in exterior design and overall philosophy to the 1954 M3, much more so than another common example of longstanding design: the 911 (the MP does have a battery powered light meter but, unlike the M7, it is not necessary for the camera to work, all other functions are purely mechanical).

Great topic, I'm trying to think of other random consumer products that continue to be produced that haven't changed...Not many!

If we're doing coffee, then the Chemex has been around since the 1940s:
