Is it me or the watch case and bracelet are fully brushed?

Which would be normal for a watch worn by covert operatives or secret service agents...

Same here! If they had fitted it with the sword hands similar to the 2254.50 references and figured out how to reduce the size of the helium escape crown, or less conspicuously integrate it into the case, it would be a perfect watch to me!

Looks that way to me as well

Think a few years back. The part number was available (maybe pre NTTD Bond Watch). Search Swedish Military Seamaster. It looked as though you could purchase it.
Alas you cannot, shame looks awesome & almost pip the green one for me.

I highly recommend the WoE Instagram. It is such a distinctive and refreshing way of covering watches compared to other mainstream outlets, and harkens back to the more substantive reasons that make the hobby is interesting (not AD wait games, value retention, etc.…). Whoever is running it is doing a bang-up job.

As much as I’d like to own one, too, it is very cool to see a watch that can only be earned - not bought.

And major points to Omega for not making a big deal out of these commissions… whereas some other watch brands (JLC, Panerai, and more) pay to license these units’ names, it’s a bit telling to see things the other way around.

I was surprised to learn about the no-date variant of the Seamaster. I like how it combines the NTTD, which is currently my favorite watch, with the classic Seamaster design. I'm sure that all the people on mwrforum.net are excited about this.

Just picked up my first Omega from my local AD. As a huge James bond fan I had to go check it out. The moment I tried it on I fell in love with the weight and vintage matte brown finish look. #espionage
