I do not know if I am allowed to ask for help regarding authentication or watchco seamasters so please if i am doing anything wrong delete! I am trying to buy my second "vintage" omega and my first seamaster/vintage diver in general. I won this on the bay for 1500 and it looks strongly like the watch co one.

I don't have much experience with these but I suspect you're on the right track. The dial lacks T's with Swiss Made and the lume looks new so I'm assuming a service dial. Same with the bezel (or fake perhaps, wait for the experts). Provided the movement is correct and in decent shape I'd guess you got a decent deal if you negotiated $1000 off the asking price of $2500. This has been up on Ebay for a while now, you should have asked before buying if you were concerned that it was a put-together. The seller states that he/she is not aware if the watch is composed of vintage or replacement parts so a return may be iffy.

No idea, sorry. Wait for those with more experience to comment. Though whether it's specifically a Watchco assemblage or an amalgam of non-vintage but original Omega parts I'm not sure is important. Again, not in my wheelhouse so I may be a bit off base.

Watchco SM300 usually do not have crowns like the one on this watch. Unusual.

This is so odd! Did you buy this? If so, why is it still available? Something doesn't seem correct here. Your not the only one confused....that's for sure!

The lume on my WatchCo Seamaster 300 (what is it with abbreviations all over?) is white, not yellow.
