Watch winder?

It's easy for me to say that's just a ridiculous amount of money but I guess if you're tossing 6 watches on it that all cost 20-50k then what's another 5k on storage.
Well the irony is he gave it to me because he quickly realised that his insurance simply wouldn't let him keep 8 watches in that price range in a winder at his house on public display, so he gave it to me and I then had the same issue as I only keep 1 or 2 out of safe deposit

The other thing I’ll add about the boxy ones, they gave me the flexibility fit them into a Gerstner Machinist tool box I refinished last summer. Still working on the section on the right, need to make the bays a little smaller and build a plexi lid to keep dust out. I searched for a while to find a winder option that would work with how I wanted to use this tool box.

Just have a crappy collection like me and you have slightly less to worry about 😉

I have never seen the need for a watch winder, unless it's for a watch with super complications that have to be set at the factory.

5k buys a very Nie watch these days. I much rather have another watch and wind manually than less watches wound.
