··Yoda of YodelersThis lot has sold. Thanks for your support, and thanks to the forum for the space 👍
Message me if you’d be interested in one and I can send an extra shift of elves back into the valet tray mine to some more.
Have you ever wondered what happens when you make yourself a large watch strap changing mat, and once finished you are momentarily pleased until something goes horribly wrong? Undeterred, you might cut that mat down to make yourself a nice mousepad for the office. You think yourself clever for a while, because this reimagining was, in fact, pretty clever. Then you might find out that the finish on your new mousepad is too glossy, or some darn thing, and the mouse won’t track on it. At this point you may cuss, just a bit mind you, and certainly under your breath, so you don’t appear any more emotionally unstable than a watch collector already appears to be.
At this point you may cut your Hindenburg of a mouse pad down to make, I dunno, nice little watch valet trays. These trays could feasibly adorn your nightstand where they would provide a nocturnal home for your watch to comfortably lay whilst you sleep.
This, coincidentally, is exactly what I have done here.
And I offer you, on a first come-first served basis (as this sequence of events will be too exhausting and cuss-inducing to attempt an encore performance of), the opportunity to purchase one for use in your lovely home. Perhaps on your nightstand, should that please you as well.
You’d like more details you say? That’s fine, I’m happy to oblige. There are two available, both lovingly made by hand, and typed about here on my iPhone with the use of just one thumb as the other is employing the use of a bandaid, rendering it useless for the task of pecking on my phone’s screen. An iPhone 12, should you be curious. But I digress, it was details, and not minutiae, that you sought:
- vegetable tanned leather in a lovely cognac tone
- lined with suede
- embossed, in a very satisfying way, with the image of a watch movement
- apx 4 3/4” x 6 1/4”
- and…finished to your great delight in a stitching colour of your choosing. The photos show the stitching holes already made. A raft of colour suggestions is imagined for you in one of the photos provided below. Other colour options are possible!
Please, ask me any questions you care to ask. I will happily attempt to demystify that which concerns you.
Asking $30 each, plus shipping, from my home in Vancouver, Canada.
Thank you for your consideration of purchasing one or more of these, and thanks to the forum for the space 👍
