Hand engraving stainless steel is a whole lot different challenge than engraving a noble metal. A inmpressive result. But the rough surface will be h_ _ l on cuffs!
fantastic craftsmanship......but don t think I would want to be walking around with that on my wrist. It looks all girly now.
When I was in NZ I got to visit a master carvers house and workshop. Although wood not metal I can appreciate the detail and Art of any carver.
Great work, but ugly in the end, at least to me. I find this is typical with engraving and the skeleton movements - the designs are so busy they are overwhelming.
Definitely looks like a lot more effort than the Ukrainians tend to go to, but what happens if you do scratch or dent it after engraving? Guess it'd cost a fair bit to touch up again
I think it's amazing, but like others wouldn't really want it. This is a really good example to me of "How can you spend thousands of dollars to make something worth less than it was originally?" Unless of course you can find the right buyer on the second hand market.
I admire the workmanship, but it's not for me - it'd take far too long to polish out all those scratches.
