I'm very slowly amassing a collection of watches and have about 3 that I rotate throughout the week. I was contemplating buying a watch case, but find the prospect of having to fasten a watch around a miniature pillow after each use moderately tedious. Plus, I am quite un-dexterious. I know what some of you may think, "if you really care about your watches, then you'll take the time and effort to store it away properly." Of course I care! But, I am also a lazy person when it comes to certain things. Any suggestions? Anything on Amazon I can buy to remedy this situation? Right now, I just lay them flat on a felt lined watch case that came with a past watch purchase, in the living room.
I have a watch box, but I don't strap the watch to the pillows - just let them sit on top with the strap wrapped around, but not fastened.
I don't get it, it takes less time to do this than it does to wind the watch. Maybe you need to hire a valet to take it off your wrist, wind it and store it for you
There's lazy and there's careless. If you're going to treat your watches like a set of keys buy a key holder....
Just tell people you keep your collection of Omegas in the Omega Boutique. It's the ultimate in laziness AND thrifty.
Reminds me of a Steven Wright line: I have a large seashell collection which I keep scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you've seen it.
I just ooze Siri she thinks crotches are really cool too and helps me stay productive without having to do all that toothless typing
I call shenanigans to this whole thread. If one is truly lazy, they would lack the motivation to even take on/off said watch. Let alone, expend the energy required to move towards another location and deal with any kind of storage device. A new one is purchased? No problem, the old ones get shoved further up the forearm. This guy is the real deal and not a wanna be lazy watch person:
