My Gsotm stopped running today. It has been on the wrist be is wound. I reset the time and made sure the crown was fully engaged.
The watch is 1.5 years old and under warranty, thank God. What do I do now...Do I bring it to a boutique for repair?

Not working? Under warranty? To Omega for checks and repairs? Sounds like the prudent thing to do... :coffee:

Sorry, my questions should have been
Should I go to a boutique or to an AD. I am close enough to an OB to make the drive.

OB or AD will both probably send the watch to the same place - Swatch service in New Jersey. Probably doesn't

Another repetitive thread. Most of these "watch stopped" threads are user error.

Call the OB. They will give you the best advice on how to start the warranty repair. Take a deep breath all will be fine. Plus you'll get a nice Omega travel case out of it.

Tell them you were late for some really important business deal. You trusted your watch so much, as it was made by omega who have diligently kept you on time for years.. but today of all days the day of the big deal with xxx & Co. !!! (why why today Omega why!)
Even as you checked your watch repeatedly at 8.45 you were not alerted. You were not surprised that time felt as if it was moving so slowly, even stopped altogether... You were nervous... After all it was the big day of the presentation to xxx & Co. and most importantly the boss would be there the head of xxx Ltd Mr xxx (who would also have been your future father in law if it were not for the lateness and the fact you lost his company's contract with xxx & Co.. )
Now you have lost your job, you have lost your fiance, she took the kids.. You lived alone in a small flat for a week or two but took heavily to drugs and alcohol mostly out of shame embarrassment, not for yourself but for the company that employed you year after year. For disillusioning their trust.. Lost, betrayed the the position of power you were given, having achieved this partly for your reputation... you were always on time always.. Your life quickly slipped downhill... Now your on the streets..
    9 hours late..
    9 hours..
    9..

Sorry to hear that! Always a bad day when a watch stops working unexpectedly! I'll go straight to the OB and remember to bring your warranty card!

Have you attempted to unplug the watch, wait 30sec and then plug it back in? Then reboot and see if that restart fixes the issue.
