    My favorite part was the Rolex ad showing clips from old movies — including one of Daniel Craig as Bond jumping through a window.

    Doubt anyone making the commercial saw the irony in that!

    I see three of these “style trend-setters” were wearing what we would presently deem “smaller watches”: one JLC Reverso, and two Cartier tanks. Does this portend a return to normal size dress watches? Is the ridiculous trend towards gigundo watches finally petering out? Stay tuned…

    Yes, if you go to Omega's web site you can see that they were passing out watches like candy...lots of DeVilles especially. They seem to have had a good prescience for who the successful underdogs would be.
