It may just be me but, in these days of utilitarian styling I have a great liking for Omega case styling from the 50s and 60s.

I can’t recall it being the subject of a thread previously on OF but I don’t see many other watch photo posts where the emphasis is on the case rather than the dial or movement.

My favourite is the styling of my 165.003 model, lovely profile, great lugs and a semi-recessed crown.

Oh, and here’s the obligatory watch face 😀

I have become a big fan of the C case Connie lately, for sure its not as pretty as my 167.005's but it has a style all its own, the angles and chamfers work well together

I particularly like the end profile shot, what I call the Millennium falcon look, bit of imagination required😀

Love the profile on thick lug seamasters.

My 2846 has seen some polish but still love its profile.

Great thread! From 1970 (sorry) - although I usually think of my Memomatic 166.072 as a piece of contemporary neo-brutalism, in fact the thing has subtleties of curve and line and texture just all over the place.

I'm going to go with the Star Trek rather than Star Wars reference:

12mm Seamaster 2254 and 13mm JLC Polaris Date. Just 1mm difference, mostly through crystal, but such a difference in appearance.
