I endeavor to avoid managerial procurement operations oversight.

I have waited at the entrance to my street to head the postman off lest my in-house manager become aware of additional procurement operations...

I have used the in sight box technique.

Step 1 Leave the box unopened on the table
    ( at this stage it's a box not a watch yet )

Step 2 Continue to leave the box on the table, Longer the better ;)
    ( still not a watch )

Step 3 Remove the box from the table when hearing " you gunna get this box off the table "
( still only a box could have anything in it )

Step 4 Remove watch from box place with its friends and place box in bin
( you have completed a task asked for and it is still known as a box )

It is no easier when that office remains unfilled and one must deal with all procurements oneself compounding other issues such as buyers remorse and the lack of outside forces preventing irrational exuberance.

Requsitioner, Agent and Accounts Payable are all the same. Internal audit does not approve. Further pick up at local fed ex office is mandated. E mails are carefully moved into private folder. Inventory is kept in safe and not on display. Regardless internal audit is not fooled ...keeps telling me to get over this obsession and sell the dammed watches.

Sorry for the mis post above (good way to get to 200 but as I sell nothing a bit pointless)

If a regulator looked at my watch business I suspect it would be criticised for

Its apparent headlong race to convert liquidity into assets
Poor asset quality when compared to similar peer groups
No apparent strategy around asset concentration risk
Total disregard for the interests and concerns of key investors with some practices highly questionable
    No discernible exit strategy

In defence I intend to call upon Tony C post re the economy as it is my flight to precious metals albeit these tick (Is stainless steel deemed precious? )

I laughed at this one, as a similar box is just a few feet away from me in the kitchen, and has been in residence for a few weeks :D
