Yes, here is the most important piece of advice - DON'T POST OPEN LISTINGS YOU INTEND BIDDING ON TO AN OPEN FORUM.
You probably just added a couple dozen bidders as competition.

 

What's wrong with the hands?

Gold Pontife style circa 1942.

Late 9 Mil serial indicates production date from about 1940s.

Looks OK to me

One thing I want to add to avoid diappointment for somebody:

This watch has already been sold some days ago by this very seller and now it was relisted.

Obviously there had been quite some shill-bidding and the seller "bought" the watch himself

He has to get rid of it once more... but I am sure there will be some helping soul from this forum now for his ease of mind
