Hello Omega watch lovers!
My father just gave me my grand father watch. It is dated from 1954 and it is automatic (the glass is in very poor condition unfortunately). I have been trying to identify this model. It looks a little bit like a constellation (but there is no « constellation » signature on the watch) and the De Ville . could you please help me to find information on this particular model?

Hi Thierry, welcome to OF 😀

Your watch has a gold case manufactured in France as was common in the fifties. It doesn't belong to a model line such as Constellation or Seamaster, but is just a 'Men's gold Omega'. I would say that this was the case for the majority of watches of that period as model line branding only really took off a bit later.

Beautiful watch which looks to have been taken good care of 😀

Nothing to add, except that I would be glad to see a closer picture of the dial. Looks like a very nice watch!
