I'm not 100% sure this is a genuine Omega. It appears to be using a modular chronograph movement, but the dial printing is crude and doesn't match any design that I can find. The subdial hands are too long, so at best this is some sort of modified watch, and at worst a fake.

Thank you for the reply. I will add more photos once I will have it in hand. Paid around $650 for it from a non profit.

For $650, someone somewhere down the line definitely made a profit.
Goodwill definitely made 100% of the profits since is donated 😀

Case appears to be low quality plated base metal.

If it’s a fake their normal rules about returns should not apply.

Everyone’s entitled to make a donation to a non profit but at least if it’s a donation you should get at the very least some sort of a document for a tax refund or deduction. You were thinking you were buying something which had some value and you end up with something worthless- also it is a criminal offense to sell a fake.
So you should feel free to discuss with them what the best solution is.

I will try to reach out to them…. They have a no return policy unless different item received or broken (in pieces 😀) ) . They sell donated items , I don’t think the sale was with intent…. I mean they put the title and the photos as donated omega sea master. I liked the look but definitely no experience on watches.. I always wanted a Omega. Either way, I would like to thank everybody on the forum for the input. Believe it or not, I learned a lot. 😀

I’m quite sure there was no intent, as you say, but when they receive an item those organizations in principle verify that it’s’fit for sale.
I’ve donated many items to a similar charity in the course of a house move, they’re quite wonderful, they use the proceeds to employ people with life struggles to help them get back on their feet, and they check every item to see that it’s in good condition and suitable for resale.
I’m sure they will happily make things right- whatever the correct solution is for you and them.

Just check the rate of the net-donation of this organisation (can you name it?) to the needy.
