    Hello Omega Forums,
I'm in the hunt for a vintage watch from 1954. Omega just seemed like the right brand to go after.
My mother was just diagnosed with Pulminary Fibrosis and Lung cancer. She will pass away this year.
Time... wish we had more of it.

I'm looking for an omega that was made in
    -1954 (her birth year).
    Steel
    -reliable/ daily wear.

Having everything original would be nice but its not a must.
I'm also a fan of patina.
Rotors would be nice but it's not a must.
I do like a larger watch but with that said, I do understand vintage watchers are generally on the small size.

My upper budget cap is roughly 700$.

What are some some watch hunting tips you well seasoned collectors have? My shopping will be done online.

I did find one locally. Pics attached. Seller says its from 1954 and keeps great time.
