Check out George Daniels’ autobiography “All in Good Time”. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/8845277-all-in-good-time
I know a lot of folk sneer/scoff/make rude gestures at Hodinkee on here (and elsewhere) but I bought this recent publication of theirs a couple of weeks ago and, well, I enjoyed reading it.
If you are thinking of vintage Universal Geneve as a possibility (and you should) then Sala's book on Chronos is essential
I can recommend Omega's book "From Seamaster to Seamaster": https://bespokeunit.com/articles/watches/from-seamaster-to-seamaster/ Great photography there. "Chasing Time" by Alistair Gibbons is a great book for vintage chronograph lovers. https://www.amazon.com/Chasing-Time-Wristwatches-Discerning-Collector/dp/0764354957 Also, "Moonwatch Only" 3rd edition has great price in UK. Just got one for myself. https://www.booksetc.co.uk/books/view/-9782940506309
I posted this elsewhere but anyway... So I ordered the third edition Moon Watch Only. It was shipped from the UK on the 11th and arrived here today the 14th. Hell I can’t get a letter across the states that quick?
