I have two watches in for service and got a mail that explained that the automatic reduction wheel is broken. This did not really mean much to me to be honest so I googled about it to find out more about it, more for my own interest than anything else. While doing so I came across a blog page: www.watchprojects.com and thought it might be of interest to others.

 

Is that not the wheel inside a watch that leads to an automatic reduction to our bank account when we buy them?

And if so, would it not be a good thing for this wheel to break?
